A Tea Stall |
A tea stall is a common place to all classes of people. It usually sits at a crowded place. In a tea stall, tea is supplied. Biscuits, bread, bananas, betel leaf are also available here. It is usually found at the turn of a road, in the train station or steamer ghat, near a factory or an office. It is not well- furnished. Even in some tea stalls there are no chairs but benches. A tea-stall has normally two parts. In the front part there are chairs, tables and show-cases. In the other part there is a kitchen. A boy is employed in a tea-stall. Sometimes the owner himself serves the customers. It opens early in the morning an closes late at night. Different kinds of people gather here. They refresh themselves with a cup of tea and discuss different topics. Sometimes, people come to a tea stall in a group and raise a storm over the cup. They discuss politics, daily affairs, various problems and what not. thus a tea stall is a noisy and busy place. Really its utility cannot be ignored. After all, a tea stall is useful place for many people.
