A Paragraph on A Farmer

A Farmer
An ideal farmer is a very important person in our society but his condition beggars description. Generally, a farmer is a poor man. He lives hand to mouth. His house is made of waved iron sheets or straws. Most often he has no land of his own. So, he cultivates the land of others on the basis of sharing the crop between him and land-owner. He gets up very early in the morning and takes a little breakfast. He goes to his field for work. He cultivates and prepares his land with simple handmade tools. Sometimes he is too busy that he cannot make time to go home for the midday meal. he earns his livelihood by the sweat of his brow. He has both pleasure and pains in his life. He gets pleasures when he has a good harvest. But he gets pains when his crops are destroyed by droughts, floods or cyclones. Again, he does not get proper price ofhis goods whern he sells them. We know that ours is an agricultural country. More than 80% people are directly or indirectly engaged in agriculture. Our economy is mostly dependent on agriculture. So, to promote the development of national economy, the farmers should be helped with agricultural subsidies by the government.

A Paragraph on The Picnic I Have Recently Enjoyed

Picnic
The picnic that I have recently enjoyed is still crystal clear in my memory. It was me who first thought of the arrangement of the picnic. I shared the idea with some of my friends. They supported the idea warmly. Then we informed our other friends about the picnic. Some of them agreed to attend the picnic. Totally 40 of us agreed to go on the picnic. We shared it with our parents. They allowed us to go on the picnic. Some of our guardians decided to accompany us. Actually their company was necessary for our guidance. Then we made a plan. We all decided to go to Moinamoti in Comilla. We fixed a date also. The fixed date was Friday. The fixed date arrived. In the meantime, we completed the necessary deeds for the arrangement of the picnic. i.e. We hired a bus. One of our guardians booked a hotel in comilla. We calculated the cost. We hired a speaker also. Our bus started for Moinamoti at 7.00am. on that day. We started singing different interesting songs. The natural beauty of that area is very charming. Watching the scenery I could understand why most of the poets are so much interested in nature. However, we reached there at 11.30am. We went around the place. It was a place of historical importance. We took a lot of photographs there. We stayed there for 5 hours. In the meantime we all took our lunch in a hotel booked before. We started for our city at 4.00pm. It took another 5 hours to reach here. Our guardians were waiting for our arrival. Then we came back to our house saying bye to one another.

A Paragraph on Early Rising

Early Rising
Early rising means the habit of getting up from bed early in the morning. i. e. at dawn or, before sunrise. Rising early is a good habit. It helps us to keep in good health. The man who rises early has got some advantages over the man who rises late. There is a wise saying, ‘Early to bed and early to rise, / Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.’ This proverb contains the inner significance of early rising. An early riser gets the opportunity of taking morning walk or physical exercise that makes his body strong and his mind cheerful. An early riser can enjoy the fresh air in the morning which refreshes both his body and mind. Moreover, an early riser can start his works early and as such gets enough time to perform his works properly. On the contrary, too much sleep makes a man dull and lazy. A late riser wastes a lot of his time in sleep and idleness. He doesn’t have time to finish his works properly. Time always moves on. It never waits anywhere for anybody. To make the best use of time early rising has no alternative. It is one of the best ways to be healthy, wealthy and wise. Above all, an early riser gets the chance of enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. So, we must cultivate the habit of early rising from the very beginning of life.

A Paragraph on The Computer

Computer

Computer is the latest miracle that has ushered in a revolution in the application of science for the benefit of mankind. It is like a super electronic brain doing all types of difficult calculations, keeping records and storing data for us. Its main features are speed and accuracy. It is an appliance which can do a job in seconds that would normally take days for hundreds of people to accomplish. It is an appliance which can do a job in seconds that would normally take days for hundreds of people to accomplish. Age old system of keeping records in voluminous registers and files is gradually making way for computer-bases data processing. It is used in schools, colleges, offices, bands, airlines, shops, laboratories, hospitals, libraries. In the fields of medical diagnosis and printing technology computerized machines are doing wonders. The space flights would not have been possible without the application of computer science. Nowadays computers are dominating every sphere of a man’s life. Though computers yield greater productivity, they have the potential to replace human labor and cause unemployment. While we should go ahead and reap the positive benefits of large scale computerization, we should also keep in mind the fact that under no circumstances should it be allowed to deteriorate the employment situation.

A Paragraph on A Winter Morning

Winter Morning
A winter morning is misty and at the same time it is dull and dismal. There remains fog all around in the atmosphere. Sometimes the fog is so dense that things at a little distance can hardly be seen. Everything looks hazy. It causes much hardship to the people especially to the drivers when they are driving. People put on different kinds of warm clothes to protect themselves from cold. After the rising of the sun, the old and the children enjoy basking in the sun. They gather straw and make fire to warm themselves with the heat. People enjoy eating various tasteful cakes in the winter morning. The date juice sellers become very busy for selling date juice from door to door. A winter morning is never a good time for both workers and service holders. They are to start for their working place no matter how cold the atmosphere is. I like a winter morning for its natural beauty. The dew drops gathered on the blades of grasses sparkle like pearls in the rays of the morning sun. A winter morning is not pleasant for all. The cold weather is harmful for the poor because they usually have no warm clothes to protect themselves from cold. They stay at home till the rising of the sun. The touch of the sun-rays returns the spirit of work to the people. Farmers and all kinds of workers go to different places and begin their day’s work.

A Paragraph on A Railway Station

A Railway Station
A railway station is a place where trains stop for the passengers’ getting into and getting off the trains. It is a busy place. Here passengers stand in queue to collect tickets in front of the ticket counters. A big railway station is always crowded with passengers, hawkers, and porters. There are tea stalls, book-sellers and waiting rooms in such a station. Vendors shout in their trade cries. ‘Cha garam’, ‘thanda pani’ etc. are the common sounds heard everywhere in a railway station. When a train reaches the station, the passengers hurry to get off the train. Again, at the time of the departure of a train, the whistling sound of the departing train rings. It creates a situation of emptiness in the mind of the passengers. Then the passengers hurry to get into the train. As a result, a gathering of passengers is seen in front of the gate at the time of departure and arrival of a train. A railway station is often a den for the anti-social elements too. It is a suitable place for the beggars. It is an unhygienic place too. Hawkers, porters and some unconscious passengers are responsible for it. Some rootless people also live there. They also make the place unhygienic. If the authority takes necessary steps, the place will remain hygienic. Awareness among the passengers is also necessary in this regard.
