The tiger is a wild and ferocious animal. It has a
strong body with a big mouth and sharp teeth.
It has sharp claws that help it to catch its prey. Its jaws are so strong that
it can easily crush a human skull
like an eggshell. It lives in jungles and deep forests. In our country it is found in the Sundarbans which are the abode of
the Royal Bengal Tiger. The Royal Bengal Tiger is famous for its beauty
and strength. The tiger lives on flesh of the animals like deer, buffaloes and
wild pigs. When it is hungry it kills an animal to satisfy its hunger. It is a nocturnal animal. It sleeps by day and goes
out a hunting an hour or two before dusk.
The tiger is really a dangerous animal. It kills a man when he happens to come
on his way. That is why, the tiger
hunters are very careful and alert when they go out on hunting in the
forest.
