A Paragraph on My Father

The dearest person to me in the world is my father. He is also one of the media of my existence on earth. As he is a human being, he has both strong and weak points, good qualities as well as bad ones. He is about------years of age having a healthy and strong physique. He is an engineer/medical officer/government employee/businessman/ service –holder. He is the head of our family and everybody obeys him. He is a loving father, but that does not mean that he does not allow us to do everything which we want to do. He has acquired a serious frame of mind and never allows us to exceed a certain limit. Most often he seems cold and all who know him intimately are convinced that there is an undercurrent of deep love beneath his serious looks. He has a gentle disposition, but if his passions are worked up, he becomes almost wild with rage. Small things, however, do not excite his anger. So he is usually calm. He shows his temper only when his endurance is put to serious tests. He does all his duties carefully and with machine- like accuracy and desires us do ours in the same manner. The discipline he has imposed on us leads us to keep ourselves on track. I am very fortunate that I have such a father who is worthy of deep respect. I am really proud of my father.
